2nd meeting of the AGORA Group 2025 in Travemünde
In perfect weather on the Baltic Sea, the AGORA Group held its second meeting at the Lübeck-Travemünde ferry terminal – hosted by Baltic Rail Gate (BRG) and Lübecker Hafen-Gesellschaft (LHG).
The agenda included an inspiring presentation by Thorsten Reese (EuroKombi, Hamburg) on a new slot planning concept, insights into port and terminal operations, a harbour tour and lively discussions on opportunities and challenges in combined transport.
A special highlight was the heartfelt farewell of founding member Antje Falk, who is retiring. With personal gifts and warm words, the group expressed gratitude for her many years of expertise, commitment and friendship.
Looking ahead, the AGORA Group worked on defining automation levels in terminal operations, while RailSync presented a software update for comprehensive train coordination.
