AGORA Group welcomes new members: Contargo, Container Terminal Dortmund and Rail Hub Duisburg

At the beginning of 2026, three new terminal operators joined the AGORA Group: Contargo GmbH & Co. KG, Container Terminal Dortmund GmbH (CTD) and Rail Hub Duisburg.

Contargo is a trimodal logistics specialist operating 24 mainly trimodal terminals across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Poland.
CTD operates a trimodal terminal as well as a rail–road terminal in the Port of Dortmund.
Rail Hub Duisburg is the brand under which Kombiverkehr Intermodal Services GmbH has been operating the Duisburg-Ruhrort Hafen intermodal terminal since 1 January 2026.

Together, the three new members contribute nearly 40 gantry cranes and bring many years of hands-on experience covering the planning, construction and operation of intermodal terminals.

The AGORA Terminal Interest Group is a permanent working group of intermodal terminals in Europe. Formally established on 1 January 2011, AGORA has already been cooperating since November 2006 through joint projects aimed at increasing terminal capacity and optimising operations. The AGORA secretariat is managed by KombiConsult GmbH.
