KombiConsult Expands Its Management Team

On 20 August 2026, the management of Kombiverkehr Deutsche Gesellschaft für kombinierten Güterverkehr mbH & Co. KG resolved to appoint Mr Dirk Steffes, with immediate effect, as the second Managing Director of KombiConsult GmbH alongside Uwe Sondermann.

He will assume this role in addition to his position as Managing Director of Kombiverkehr KG, which he took up on 1 June 2026.

At the same time, it was agreed to change Ms Viktoria Präg-Jähn’s existing sole power of procuration (Einzelprokura) to a joint power of procuration (Gesamtprokura). In future, she will be authorised to represent the company jointly with one of the Managing Directors.

This arrangement ensures compliance with the four-eyes principle required for companies within the Kombiverkehr Group. Both Dirk Steffes and Viktoria Präg-Jähn are exempt from the restrictions on self-dealing pursuant to Section 181 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

KombiConsult GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kombiverkehr KG, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, and specialises in consulting services for combined rail-road-inland waterway freight transport.
